Overview

ZPMC India is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, testing and commissioning of port equipment and crane electrical systems. The role involves working with electrical and automation systems, including PLCs and drives, while coordinating with customers and project teams across various sites. The ideal candidate should be technically competent, safety-focused, adaptable and willing to travel based on project requirements.

Responsibilities

1.Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and fault diagnosis of port equipment, including STS, RTG and RMG cranes.
2.Carry out preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance of electrical and automation systems.
3.Support testing, commissioning, modification and refurbishment activities at project sites.
4.Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical manuals for effective troubleshooting.
5.Prepare service reports and coordinate with customers/site teams while ensuring compliance with company safety standards.

Requirements

1.Hands-on experience in port equipment electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
2.Good knowledge of electrical control systems, motors, VFDs/drives and industrial automation.
3.Working knowledge of ABB & Siemens PLC programming and troubleshooting.
4.Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation and customer-handling skills.
5.Ability to work independently and willingness to travel within India and overseas.

Qualification

Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering
