Overview

ZPMC India is seeking an experienced Project Head – Port Equipment Projects to lead the end-to-end execution of major port equipment projects across India. The role will oversee multiple projects covering erection, commissioning, refurbishment, upgrades and lifecycle services, with responsibility for project delivery, commercial performance, customer coordination, safety, quality and team leadership

Responsibilities

1.Lead and manage multiple port equipment projects involving STS, RTG, RMG, MHC, GSU and Yard Crane systems.
2.Own the complete project lifecycle from PO handover through planning, execution, commissioning, final handover and warranty support.
3.Drive project scheduling, budgeting, resource planning, cost control and commercial performance.
4.Act as the key interface with customers, port authorities, consultants, subcontractors and other project stakeholders.
5.Lead project teams while ensuring compliance with OEM requirements, quality standards, HSE requirements and statutory obligations.

Requirements

1.Extensive experience in port equipment, heavy engineering, EPC or OEM project environments, preferably involving large-scale crane projects.
2.Strong project leadership with proven capability in managing multiple complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
3.Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, cost control and commercial management.
4.Excellent customer, stakeholder, contract coordination, negotiation and escalation-management skills.
5.Strong decision-making, problem-solving and leadership capabilities with a focus on safe execution, quality, schedule and project performance.

Qualification

Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Mechatronics Engineering
