Overview

ZPMC India is seeking an experienced Rope Access Level 3 Supervisor / Manager to lead and develop rope access operations across port, marine, offshore and industrial projects. The role involves supervising high-risk rope access activities, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, managing teams and equipment, and supporting inspection, maintenance, repair and NDT-related projects.

Responsibilities

1.Lead, supervise and safely execute rope access operations across multiple projects in accordance with approved procedures and standards.
2.Develop and review RAMS, JSA, rescue plans and rope access work procedures for project activities.
3.Manage rope access teams, including recruitment, training, competency development and operational supervision.
4.Plan and coordinate rope access activities for structural inspections, maintenance and repair, NDT and corrosion-related works.
5.Ensure compliance with IRATA/SPRAT requirements, maintain equipment and inspection records, conduct audits, and coordinate with clients and project stakeholders.

Requirements

1.Strong technical knowledge of rope access techniques, anchoring systems, rescue procedures and safe working practices.
2.Proven leadership and team-management capability in rope access or similar high-risk operations.
3.Good knowledge of risk assessment, rescue planning, equipment inspection and applicable IRATA/SPRAT requirements.
4.Experience supporting inspection, maintenance, structural repair and/or NDT activities in port, marine, offshore or industrial environments.
5.Strong communication, documentation, planning and client/stakeholder coordination skills.
